We\u2019re looking for a friendly and committed volunteer to join our Trustee team as\u00a0Chairperson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This rewarding role helps guide the running of our busy, much\u2011loved Community Centre \u2014 home to over 30 local groups, activities, and events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What the role involves:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Leading our monthly Trustee meetings\u00a0Preparing agendas, minutes, and annual reports<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Overseeing policies, contracts, and key governance tasks<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Helping with occasional enquiries and supporting day\u2011to\u2011day Centre operations<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Optional friendly visits to user groups<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Carrying out monthly Fire, Health &amp; Safety checks<\/mark><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need previous experience \u2014 just good communication skills, a bit of organisation, and a genuine desire to support your local community. We\u2019re looking for a voluntary<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Vice Chairperson to join our friendly team and support the running of Wilton Community Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As Vice Chair, you\u2019ll play a key role in:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting and deputising for the Chair<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working closely with our Trustees and helping welcome new ones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keeping our charity compliant and well\u2011organised<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Being a point of contact for local councils and community partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Helping maintain policies, governance documents and noticeboards<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Getting involved in grant applications when needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a brilliant opportunity to make a real difference in your community, support a much\u2011loved local charity, and help shape the future of the Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need previous experience \u2014 just good communication skills, a bit of organisation, and a genuine desire to support your local community.
