Centre Reopens

On Monday 28th September Wilton Community Centre opened again for classes and activities.
The Centre has been deep cleaned and covered in posters, floors stickers and automatic hand gel dispensers, QR Code installed and the whole building is now Covid19 Secure.  So far there are 10 User groups who have completed their own Risk Assessment  and agreed to return to their classes. Things are different than they were before lock down , not just for our Centre but everywhere, with reduced numbers and awareness of social distancing, no catering and new rules. The Trustees thought it very important to open the Centre as soon as possible for the benefit of the many people of Wilton who rely on it for learning and social occasions, and are confident it is welcoming and safe.

Classes are a bit sparse at the moment but we hope the other Users will soon be able to return and bring the Centre up to full strength, Boris permitting.

OCTOBER AGM
This should have been on Monday 12th October but like many public meetings and other AGM’s, the Trustees decided it was unsafe to hold such a meeting and have cancelled this occasion. In the next few days, all our Users and regular supporters will be notified and we will publish AGM Reports from The Chair and Treasurer and news of our User Groups on this website.
